In the dictionary, "gracious" is synonymous with the words courteous, kindness, compassion, warmth and prosperity. The beauty of the amenities and grounds is very apparent: and the comments "comfortable and spotless" and "the best value in Orange County" are often heard as people talk about Quaker Gardens.
Quaker Gardens is conveniently located near many exciting attractions such as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, The Bowers Museum of Cultural Arts and Rodgers Gardens, and just minutes to Huntington Beach and Newport Beach.
Quaker Gardens was founded in 1965 by a group of dedicated members of the California Yearly Meeting of the Friends Church, now Evangelical Friends Church Southwest. The yearly meeting acts as sponsor to the Gardens which operates as a non profit, faith based corporation. We want our residents to feel their needs are met physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

The Board of Directors of California Friends Homes, with guidance from God, will provide a full range of residential and health services designed to serve the changing needs of senior citizens, in a variety of Christian settings, to maximize the quality of their lives, and to fulfill their physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs, consistent with sound financial management.
